WHO AM I?

I’m Steve Ceaton, a designer, developer, writer, SEO and dreamer and I work mainly in online media. If you have a business, blog or just an idea and you’re not sure where to start online, that’s where I come in! My job is to advise on strategy, then carry through ideas into a workable solution. I work for myself so you can be assured of the personal touch. No delegating here.

My Training

I studied computing in university. I completed a HND in 1999, but in reality, it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. One of my tutors once says ‘computing is life learning’, and around 2004 everything I was taught in university was obsolete. I continue learning new things every day, and that’s what I love about this job.

I’ve always been a writer at heart, but I’ve made a pretty decent living out of websites and SEO for the last 10 years. I can design and build websites, and my favourite CMS platform is the amazing WordPress.

I love writing in all its forms and love the process of writing copy using persuasion techniques. I’m an editor on DMOZ and Wikipedia. I’ve had articles published on Problogger among other websites.
